JOURNAL OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

Ownership and Management

Jurnal Ulumul Qur'an: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir STIU Darul Qur'an

1. Ownership and Publisher

Jurnal Ulumul Qur'an: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Al-Qur'an dan Tafsir is officially owned, managed, and published by STIU Darul Qur'an. The institution provides the essential administrative, legal, and technological infrastructure required to operate the journal, host its Open Journal System (OJS) platform, and ensure its long-term academic sustainability.

2. Editorial Independence

While the journal is published and administratively supported by STIU Darul Qur'an, the editorial management operates with strict academic independence. The owning institution, publisher, and any institutional leaders do not interfere with the editorial decision-making process.

All decisions regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript are made exclusively by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, and the outcomes of the double-blind peer-review process.

3. Funding and Revenue Sources

To maintain open access and uphold publishing standards, the journal's operations are financially supported by two main sources:

  • Institutional funding and administrative support provided by STIU Darul Qur'an.

  • Article Processing Charges (APC) paid by authors only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

These revenue sources are utilized exclusively for publishing operations, including website maintenance, professional proofreading, metadata generation, DOI registration, and digital archiving. The financial status of an author or the payment of an APC never influences editorial decisions or the peer-review process.
