Publication Fees

Jurnal Ulumul Qur'an: Jurnal Kajian Ilmu Al-Qur’an dan Tafsir applies the following publication fees to support the dissemination of scholarly research.

Article Submission Fee: IDR 0.00 No fee is charged for manuscript submission. Authors can submit and track their manuscripts through our online system free of charge.

Article Publication Fee: IDR 700,000 Authors of accepted manuscripts are required to pay an article publication fee of IDR 700,000. This fee is applied only after the manuscript has passed the rigorous peer-review process and is officially accepted for publication. This fee is intended to support the open-access publishing process, specifically professional proofreading services, manuscript handling, editorial processing, metadata preparation, and long-term digital archiving.

Waiver Policy

To foster and support global research collaboration, Jurnal Ulumul Qur'an offers a full APC waiver (100% free of charge) for corresponding authors who are affiliated with universities or institutions outside of Indonesia.

APC History

For transparency, the journal provides the following information regarding the history of its Article Publication Charge (APC) adjustments:

  • Following its official accreditation as a SINTA 4 journal, starting from Volume 3, Issue 1, the journal introduced an initial publication fee of IDR 450,000. This rate remained in effect until Volume 5, Issue 2.

  • Beginning with Volume 6, Issue 1, the publication fee was adjusted to IDR 500,000.

  • Effective from Volume 6, Issue 2, the article publication fee has been set to the current rate of IDR 700,000. This most recent adjustment was implemented specifically to accommodate professional proofreading services, ensuring the highest standard of academic publishing for all accepted manuscripts.
